‘Harry Potter’ Baby! Devon Murray & GF Shannon McCaffrey Expecting

“Harry Potter” actor Devon Murray, 31, is going to be a dad for the first time!

Murray, known for his role as Seamus Finnigan in the beloved franchise, is growing a family with girlfriend Shannon McCaffrey. On Wednesday, he posted a pic of a sonogram, writing on Instagram, “Baby Murray – 14th of January 2021.”

After seeing the post, his “Harry Potter” co-star Evanna Lynch wrote, “Awwww congratulations Dev!! So happy for you! You’re going to be such a fun dad!”

Scarlett Hefner added, “Congratulations Dev!! So exciting.”

After receiving all the love and support on social media, Devon wrote, “We’re both so happy, excited and nervous and can not wait until he/she are in our arms.”

The baby news comes just months after Murray’s co-star Rupert Grint and his girlfriend Georgia Groome welcomed a baby girl. In May, a rep for the couple told People magazine, “Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl. We would please ask that you respect their privacy at this very special time.”

Daniel Radcliffe, who played Harry Potter, reacted to Grint’s baby news on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live,” saying, “I’m so happy for him. It’s very, very cool. It’s also, like, super weird for me to think that we are all at the age where we are having children, but we definitely are.”
