The replica of the first miniature spaceship and sputnik is also present. The Museum of Cosmonautics is opened inside the Monument of Conquerors of Space, built almost 20 years ago.

GUM

GUM or Glávnyj Universálnyj Magazín or popularly known as the Main Universal Store, is one of the architectural marvels in Moscow. This upscale shopping center was opened in the late 1800s in the Neo-Russian style. The stunning interiors of the GUM are a significant fascination and include many high-end boutiques too. By 1920, the place became the home of almost 100 stores selling luxurious varieties from Dior to affordable Zara. The place has sturdy exteriors as the glass panels are strong enough to brave the Russian winter season. All three levels of GUM are covered in granite and marble. The place may not be that lucrative for budget-conscious people, but the beauty of the building is awe-inspiring and requires a one-time visit.
