Enzo Pineda on why he remained as a Kapamilya despite the network’s shutdown, Loyalty
On April 4, Kapamilya artist Enzo Pineda shared why he remained as a Kapamilya despite the network’s shutdown.
During a media conference for their upcoming movie Dok, Pineda said he aimed to stay loyal to ABS-CBN, highlighting the opportunities he received from the network.
“Binukas nila ‘yung utak how to be more passionate with my craft. And sana po things will get better soon for all of us po.”
He then shared his reaction to seeing former Kapuso talents in the Kapamilya networks.
“Ako po, it’s always nice to see familiar faces. And you also get to build bridges.
He even teased an upcoming project with fellow Kapuso-turned-Kapamilya Janine Gutierrez.
We shot it last year, kaming dalawa po. So hopefully.”
Pineda began his career with GMA Network in 2008, but he moved to ABS-CBN in 2016.
Enzo Pineda stars in the upcoming movie Dok alongside Mickey Ferriols, Rob Sy, LM Mercado, Aryan Akhtar, Potchi Angeles, and Maria de Ramos.
Pineda shared his reaction to landing his first movie for 2022.
“I feel very lucky just to be working. Of course, it was difficult for all of us, we had to leave our families. Pero we felt that ito pong istorya na ito kailangan po naming ishoot at ipakita sa taong bayan kasi very inspiring ang film na ‘to.”
Atty. Maria Angelica De Ramos wrote, produced, and directed Dok, and it premieres on April 6, 2022, in cinemas.
