Rose Nono Lin, an executive of the controversial Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corporation, claimed that luxury cars “magically” appeared in her garage, resulting in celebrities and personalities on Friday, November 5, to “wish” it would also happen to them.
Sen. Gordon also wondered how Lin could own many expensive cars.
O ikaw ba yung bumili niyan?” he jest.
Lin, who is eyeing for a congressional seat responded, “Natagpuan ko po ‘yan sa garahe po namin dahil hindi po ako mahilig sa sasakyan. Okay na po sa akin basta po tumatakbo at may masakyan po ako papunta po sa opisina.”
The Pharmally executive was referring to her 2019 Lexus that is worth P8.8-million.
Her explanation was then considered a laughing stock over Twitter.
Former Born To Be Wild host Kiko Rustia wished that he would wake up with a Lexus parked in his garage.
Singer and comedienne K Brosas “hoped” that instead of luxury cars, she would find a boyfriend in her garage.
Celebrity DJ, DJ Chacha even had to “wake up” early in the morning with hopes of finding either a Lexus or a Cadillac at her parking lot but was “disappointed” to see none.
Hayyyy
Atty. Ted Te, former Supreme Court spokesperson, “realized” that he does not have a magic garage, explaining why a luxury car did not show up when he woke up.
When I woke up, I realized I didn’t have a magic garage that’s why a Lexus didn’t appear.
Aside from the 2019 Lexus, Lin also owns a Range Rover worth P11.9 million, which she bought in January 2020, and in July 2020, she purchased a P4.8 million Toyota Land Cruiser.
Lin was invited to the Senate hearing since Pharmally bagged multi-billion peso contracts at the onset of the pandemic last year.
