Kelvin Miranda recalls being turned down by his high school teacher

On September 9, Kapuso artist Kelvin Miranda recalled being turned down by his high school teacher during the media conference for ‘Loving Miss Bridgette.’

Miranda admitted that he was impulsive in high school, which led to him confessing to his high school teacher.

He then revealed that he has experienced being in a relationship with older women twice.

Which is kahit ayaw natin mangyari na, gusto lang natin intindihin ‘yung pagmamahalan,

Mahirap mag-work. And sobrang laki ng pinanghahawakan nila sa isa’t isa and tiwala and all. Na-try ko siya pero hindi nag-work.”

Miranda became known for his role in the Kapuso Network’s The Lost Recipe. But now, he portrays a younger man in a May-December love affair in Loving Miss Bridgette.

His co-star Beauty Gonzalez recalled filming their intimate scenes in the series. She even praised Miranda’s acting skills, noting that he was a ‘[very] good student.’

“As for Kelvin, for his first experience, he’s a [very] good student. As Miss Bridgette. Yeah A+

“Syempre pinaguusapan talaga ‘yan. I mean with love scene that I’ve done in my past. Pinaguusapan po talaga with my co-actor. Hindi dapat minamadali, dapat ninanamnam mo every scene, every kiss, every touch, every nuances, every look. Nanamnamin mo ‘yan. As what I’ve said, Kelvin was a good student.”

The mini-series is part of GMA Network’s new anthology drama, Stories from the Heart. The teleserye shows unusual love stories and how social media affects relationships and the people surrounding them.

Loving Miss Bridgette airs on September 13 on GMA Network. The teleserye also stars Bing Loyzaga, Adrian Alandy, Noel Colet, Polo Ravales, Lloyd Samartino, Nikki Co, Pamela Prinster, and Shanicka Arganda.
