Lloyd Cadena, one of the country’s top vloggers, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020. He was 26 years old.
On his official Facebook page, the following statement was posted an hour ago:
“It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the untimely demise of our beloved brother Lloyd Cafe Cadena. May he be remembered for all the joy and laughter he shared with everyone. My family and I ask for your prayers, respect, and privacy during this time.”

According to RemitBlog, Cadena is one of the 10 Highest-Earning Filipino Vloggers on YouTube with estimated monthly earnings of up to 1.5 million Pesos. He has 5.32 million subscribers as of this posting. His secondary YouTube channel “Lloyd Cafe Cadena VLOGS” has more than 3 million subscribers (The list was topped by journalist Raffy Tulfo who has an estimated monthly earnings of up to P50 million).
Last month, Cadena’s colleague and fellow vlogger Emman Nimedez died of acute myeloid leukemia.
