I Stalked Sephora’s 100 Bestselling Skincare Products—This Is What I Would Buy

Simply put, it’s our job to find the best beauty products out there for you. From the newest serum to the hottest lipstick color to the dry shampoo that will change your life, we will find it, test it, and let you know what we think. We’re not complaining—it’s a pretty fun gig, and we’ll volunteer to be beauty guinea pigs any day.

But one of the cool things to come out of this is finding out what products you’re loving and buying. It helps us figure out what you want to learn more about and what you’re into so we can bring even more personalized recs to you.

Because we share a lot of our favorites with you every single day, we recognize it might be hard to keep up. So we’ve decided to put together a handy weekly list of what we love and what you love. Consider this a CliffsNotes, one-stop shop of what’s really trending and worth adding to your cart at this very moment.

This week, I scoured the skincare bestsellers list on Sephora and picked out all the products I would buy and recommend. Do you have a product that we missed? We’d love to know. Send us a DM.

I’ve been using this rich cream a lot lately and it’s been really saving my dry skin. Although it’s a rich formula, it doesn’t feel greasy, sticky, or heavy when I apply it—it just absorbs so well into my skin and works quickly to smooth it. And yes, like its name suggests, it does leave a dewy glow.

This exfoliant is always on our best-seller lists, so I’m not sure why I haven’t bought it yet, but it’s at the top of my list. The leave-on formula contains 2% salicylic acid, which means it gets rid of any buildup and dead skin cells but does it gently.

After reading Senior Beauty Editor Erin Jahns’s 73-year-old mom’s review of The Ordinary’s Peeling solution, I was intrigued. She said she was pleasantly surprised that the peel wasn’t too harsh on her dry and sensitive skin and her skin felt amazingly soft afterward.

This is already one of my favorite cleansers, so of course it needs to be on my “to buy” list. The gel formula feels very refreshing when I massage it into my skin and it manages to cleanse it without leaving it dry.

I’ve been noticing a few dark spots lately, so I’ve been looking for a product to experiment with. Caudalie’s serum has piqued my interest. The serum targets dark spots and uneven skin tone, but it also leaves it hydrated at the same time.

I’m in the market for a makeup remover that doesn’t strip my skin, and I’m thinking a cleansing balm might be the better option for me now instead of a traditional remover. Farmacy’s balm comes highly rated on Sephora and I love that it’s formula contains botanical and natural ingredients like sunflower and ginger root oils, turmeric and moringa extract, and papaya enzymes.

My skin doesn’t normally have redness, but lately, it’s been red around the nose and forehead area. And when I think of redness, I think of Dr. Jart+’s Cicapair line, which is known for treating redness and soothing the skin effectively.

This is another essential in my bathroom vanity. I love it as an everyday moisturizer because it’s so smoothing and hydrating but not too thick.

When looking for a toner, I need something that can exfoliate but that doesn’t mess with my skin since it’s prone to dryness. This one from Glow Recipe contains PHA and BHA to gently exfoliate and cleanse pores plus watermelon extract, hyaluronic acid, and cactus water to quench the skin.

These peel pads live up to the hype. The two-step product really just does it all—it reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scares, pores, and shine.

With over 7000 reviews and 4.5 out of 5 stars, this cream has been on my wish list for a while. I love that it has colloidal oatmeal to relieve itching and allantoin to calm the skin.

I use this sleeping mask at least once a week to ward off any dryness. I love the gel formula because it feels so lightweight and isn’t greasy at all, so I don’t mind leaving it on while I sleep.

This serum treatment is great for exfoliating and resurfacing the skin—it targets fine lines and wrinkles, blemishes, uneven texture, hyperpigmentation, dark spots, and redness.

Here’s another product that’s already in my skincare rotation, and I’ll always have on my shopping list. Sometimes I’ll even just wear it by itself—that’s how hydrating and soothing it is on my skin.

I love that you can use this eye cream all over the eye area—browbone, eyelid, crow’s-feet, and under-eye—because a lot of eye creams are only for a certain part of the eye area. It’s infused with niacinamide to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and brighten, and collagen peptide to visibly improve crow’s-feet.

This sunscreen stick is just so practical. It’s easy to bring with you on-the-go and its compact size makes it easy to stash it in your handbag. And because it’s in stick form, it can be applied without any mess.

This moisturizing cream has some great anti-aging benefits. It’s formulated with hyaluronic acid for long-term hydration, vitamins C and E to brighten and even the skin tone, and a bionymph peptide complex to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Vitamin C is a must if you want bright and glowy skin, and this serum delivers just that. In addition to its brightening effect, the formula also minimizes pores and targets fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots, and redness.

And the brightening ingredient vitamin C also works wonders as an eye cream. This one works well on dark circles, which have become the bane of my existence.

This mask will save stressed-out skin. It’s enriched with soothing and hydrating ingredients like niacinamide, glycerin, hyaluronic acid, allantoin, and bisabolol.
