The Best Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Items

One of my favorite times of the year is here. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale !!
The sale is a great time to stock up on your basics, the staples…your ride-or-die items. But it’s also fun to score some high ticket items if they’re on sale.
When it comes to higher priced items, especially clothes, I like to think of them as an investment. My advice is to go classic. Think of it as something you’ll have for a really long time. The more classic it is, the less likely it is to go out of style & the more you’ll keep going back to it.
I want to get right to all these items so you guys can start shopping ASAP. In this post you’ll learn about the most flattering lipstick for everyone, an amazing facial tool I can’t live without, & my favorite blanket in the whole world ( it’s a Kardashian’s fave too ).
Just quick before we get into the products, here’s a little refresh on how the Nordstrom Sale works…
EARLY ACCESS: July 12-27
PUBLIC ACCESS: July 28-August 8
So, who gets early access?
Here’s the deal. To get early access you need to be a Nordy Cardmember. For those who don’t know, this is the Nordstrom Credit Card that you can use in store or online. You can also gain access from just having the points card too though. We’ll get to that in a sec.
Not a member? Don’t sweat it, it’s easy to sign up. Just click here, then fill out all your info under the right side where it says ‘Nordstrom Retail,’ & you’ll instantly gain Early Access Status.
HOWEVER !! You should know that there are different tiers & the early access sale starts on different days for each tier. Here’s the breakdown:
ICONS ( spends at least $15,000 annually ): sale starts July 12
AMBASSADORS ( spends at least $5000 annually ): sale starts July 14
INFLUENCERS ( spends at least $2000 annually ): sale starts July 16
INSIDERS ( spends at least $500 annually ): sale starts July 28

This lipstick & lip liner looks good on everyone. EVERYONE ! This set comes with an eye shadow too, & I have no doubt Charlotte Tilbury made all the shades so that they work for every single skin tone.

beautyBlender makeup sponges are a ride-or-die item. I have one for sunscreen & one for makeup, so this set is perfect since it comes with 2. There are so many dupes on the market, but these are the ones you want to get. Here’s the key: make sure it’s damp. It will create the most dewy, perfect glow on your face. Trust me.
For some reason I just think they work best when they’re super dirty. LOL. Gross I know. However, they obviously need cleaning every now & then to get rid of bacteria & old product.

Anyway, these lip tints are the perfect shade to take your natural makeup look up a notch. The color isn’t too drastic so it’s perfect for summer.
You may know by now that I love a primer. Give me anything to make my makeup lay nicely, plz & thx. This primer by Laura Mercier does just that. It’s great that this comes in a 2 pack since it’s something you’ll use almost every day.

I’ve purchased this set multiple times & it’s so great to use while you’re breastfeeding. It’s cruelty-free, & has no nasties like sulfates, phthalates, parabens, petrochemicals, mineral oil, silicone, talc, alcohols, synthetic dyes & fragrances, coal tar & chemical screens.
The eucalyptus body wash is my favorite. If you read this post you know I’m a big fan of a eucalyptus shower & using the shower gel creates a full-on spa experience. Try this brand while it’s on sale because it’s one that you don’t want to miss out on. The consistency is just right & it lays so nice on a loofah or dry brush ( dry brushing is the shit btw ).

You may have heard me talk about these flannels from Rails before. They come in a few different colors & they’re such a good staple. They look great with skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans ( scope this post for the best BF jeans ), shorts, skirts, you name it. Plus, they are the SOFTEST fabric ever.
This black bodysuit by Spanx holds you in, will never go out of style & is good for all seasons. I’ve been really into bodysuits lately & whether it’s with sweatpants or baggy jeans, they are really flattering & make me feel snatched.
Over-the-knee boots look so good with leggings, a skirt or skinny jeans. These ones have a heel but it’s not too high so they’re still super comfortable. The fact that these boots go over the knee makes them more exciting than just knee-high boots.
You can’t go wrong with this classic pajama set. It comes in a few of different colors, is the softest fabric & just the comfiest set you’ll own. They’re affordable normally, but with the sale they’re extra affordable. You should know that there is also a set available that comes with shorts– I’d go for the black.

♡ Vince Cable-knit Merino Wool Sweater
As I mentioned above, some things are an investment piece. This merino wool sweater by Vince is cozy, baggy but chic, perfect for Aspen ( LOL ).
It is ‘oversized’ so take note of what size you order. This sweater is ribbed on the cuffs & the hem, comes in off-white or a brownish, gray color. I’m team off-white but you do you.

HOME
This is truly a ride-or-die for me. It’s actually the blanket of your dreams. My friend Gillian gifted me one a few years ago & I’ve never looked back. Michael is obsessed, Boone is obsessed, Zaza is obsessed ( they have baby blankets too ! ) & as you can tell, I’m obsessed.
The blankets are buttery, beautiful & you may have seen paparazzi pics of Khloe Kardashian leaving the airport wrapped in one. They come in leopard, snow leopard & a some other colors & designs too. You can’t go wrong.
♡ Diffuser
So obsessed with diffusers. Everyone knows this. They’re all over my house, all over my office, all my friends have them- I just can’t shut the fuck up about them. The ones I have in my house are by Vitruvi ( They’re matte, in chic colors, & the mist comes out in this super sexy way ). However, the Vitruvi ones are ceramic so a little heavy.
Recently I found this one that’s a little smaller & lightweight so it’s perfect to bring with you on a trip to make a hotel room feel like home. It’s white, chic, has different timer settings & all you need to bring is your favorite oil. For more info on essential oils, check out this post.
♡ Schott Zwiesel Whiskey Glasses
These glasses are perfect if you’re into craft cocktails. Recently Westin got Michael this drink smoker. If you think that sounds cool, let me tell you that it is. A post all about it is coming later this week. These glasses are super sleek & timeless, plus they’re dishwasher safe.
I’m sure you’re all so sick of me talking about Hydro Flasks, but I have them all around me, all the time. It’s hands down the best way to get more water in & keep things freezing fucking cold ( or hot, if that’s your thing ). Just be sure to grab the straw lid too. It’s the key to drinking more water.
Since we moved to Austin I’ve been really into keeping our house ‘natural.’ That means I have a wooden bath mat, wooden soap dispensers, neutral colors in my meditation station, & our furniture was designed by Westin & is all WHITE ( wish me luck with a dog & toddler ).
We want everything to feel light & airy & zen, so this wood & marble serving board goes perfectly in our kitchen. You can use it as a charcuterie board, veggie tray, fruit plate & even store it upright on your backsplash so it’s always on display.
