Chicken, whether it be fried, in a soup, or part of a stew, is already everybody’s favorite. Make it even more appetizing by adding a creamy sauce to make it an instant hit. 

To make sure that your creamy chicken recipe is cooked as deliciously as it can be, here are tips to take note of:

1 Sear the chicken.

Searing develops flavor, also known as golden brown and delicious. This process is known as the Maillard reaction, so place the chicken in the pot then leave it alone. This allows your chicken to brown and become tasty even before proceeding.

2 Use all-purpose cream or evaporated milk.

You have your choice of two delicious ingredients to create a creamy and milky dish. You can add all-purpose cream or milk. All-purpose cream adds super richness and thickens sauces naturally because it has a thick consistency. Evaporated milk meanwhile adds creaminess but it also adds a delicious milky flavor to your dish that cream doesn’t quite have.

3 Try using cream of mushroom soup.

Mushrooms are loaded with umami! These edible fungi are responsible for many delicious dishes and chicken is just one of its common flavor partners. Chicken when paired with a creamy mushroom soup sauce will make any dish more irresistible.

4 Load it up with cheese.

If you don’t have cream or milk, why not add cheese? Cheese adds a rich creaminess and a delicious taste! You don’t need to spend on expensive cheese either. You can instantly amp up the flavor with quick-melting cheese or even cheese spread.

5 Use coconut milk or gata.

Asian cooking is rife with recipes that use coconut milk or gata! This creamy but non-dairy milk is a fantastic ingredient to use for many dishes. In fact, coconut cream or milk is a great substitute for cream. Plus, it’s super tasty!

6 Add lots of garlic.

If there’s an herb that pairs with chicken very well, it’s garlic. Anyone who loves garlic will agree that you should add garlic to chicken dishes. It instantly makes a simple yet super flavorful dish.
