DTI-NCRO, Zapateria to hold online workshop on simple crafts for beginners
PASIG CITY, Sept. 11 (PIA) — The Department of Trade and Industry-National Capital Region (DTI-NCRO), in collaboration with Zapateria is hosting an exclusive online workshop titled, “Better Normal Essentials: Crafting from Home.”
During the online workshop, the participants will be able to learn how to make simple crafts for beginners that suit the new and better normal, such as alcohol holder, cup sleeve, mask, envelope pouch, lanyard pouch, the DTI-NCRO said.
The workshop will happen on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. via Zoom conference.

As a special offer, participants may also order a Maker’s Kit for the workshop.
The kit will include the necessary materials and tools to be used during the session. The kit is valued at P980 only.
Zapateria is a co-creation hub for shoemakers, designers, and hobbyists intended to foster innovation and creativity in the shoe industry and to connect them with the market.
To recall, the DTI has always supported the shoemaking industry by expanding a number of shoemaking shared service facilities to benefit out-of-school youth, among others. (PIA-NCR)
