PH logs 2,288 new Covid cases, highest this year
The Philippines posted 2,288 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, the highest daily log this year, according to the Department of Health.
The number eclipsed the 2,245 cases recorded on January 27.
The country now has a total of 563,456 virus cases.
Of the 28,488 active cases, almost 94 percent were mild, moderate, and asymptomatic.
There were 33 new recoveries for a total of 522,874 and six new deaths for a total of 12,094.
The country had a positivity rate of 6.6 percent.
