QUEZON CITY, Mar. 2 (PIA) — The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) urged everyone, especially women, to pamper and celebrate Women’s Month by joining the online forum series and availing services exclusively for Serbisyo Para Kay Juana.

Women can join the 1:00 p.m. online forum series through the PCW FB page @pcw on the following dates:

  ·      March 3, 2021- Juana, Nangunguna Laban sa Pandemya, featuring inspirational stories and messages from women who managed to serve and lead during the COVID-19 pandemic

 ·      March 8, 2021- Kumusta ka, Juana? Providing practical tips on pandemic survival and recovery, with discussion on hobbies, work and home duties, and mental health, as well as government programs for women in hardly-hit sectors

 ·      March 17, 2021- Bida si Juana sa Panahon ng Corona. Honoring women’s contribution in COVID-19 response and recover

·      March 23, 2021- FYI, may FOI (PCW x PCOO-FOI-PMP x CHR). Empowering Juanas through access to government information

·      March 31, 2021- Juana Cares, We Care, Let Every Juan Care. Talks about unpaid care work, women’s services in their home and communities, and addressing these issues.

Meanwhile, the Commission on Election (COMELEC) offers a three-day special voter registration for women and girls from March 8 to 10 in all Offices of Election Officers nationwide and registrations for overseas voters from March 9 to 11 in Philippine posts and embassies abroad and Philippine Satellite Offices at the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), and COMELEC Palacio del Gobernador, Intramuros Manila.
