PASIG CITY, Feb. 22 (PIA) — The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) brings hope and empower women in reformatory centers, or those regarded as persons deprived of liberty (PDL), by providing skills and entrepreneurship training.
TESDA’s skills training was recently conducted by the Luzon Technological College Foundation Inc. held at Correctional Institute for Women in Mandaluyong City.
The skills and entrepreneurship training culminated with the distribution of toolkits for Hilot Wellness Massage.
The skills development training, TESDA said, may help provide support to the reintegration programs provided to women PDLs.
TESDA is keen in extending humanely effort to empower and help all the female PDLs.
Part of the empowerment program is the skills training and enhancement wherein the idea of making a living following reformation may boost the confidence of all the female PDLs to believe in themselves. (PIA NCR)
