Buknoy Glamurrr’s management team denies ‘fake news’ about church prank

Buknoy Glamurrr’s Management, Star Image Artist Management released a statement refuting the post circulating about the vlogger involving a prank in a Catholic Church.

The deleted statement reads, “Yes, Buknoy committed mistakes in the past, but spreading fake news and mocking the Catholic Church is ungodly. Please be a responsible page owner.”

Star Image Artist Management also called out the Philippine Star about the inappropriate use of their logo to spread the viral post.

“To Philippine Star, your logo is being used/imitated to spread this immoral kind of post. Please act accordingly.”

The said post came from a facebook page named Nyebe, claiming that the vlogger mixed in orange juice powder with holy water in St. Paul the Apostle Parish Church.

The post also claimed that the vlogger got arrested afterwards.

Netizens expressed their dismay over the ‘fake news.’ However, some noted that they weren’t surprised by the viral post given Glamurrr’s prior behavior.

Coincidentally, the ‘fake news’ incident happened during the vlogger’s birthday month.

Earlier, Star Image Artist Management suspended Glamurrr after defaming celebrities, such as Vice Ganda, Ion Perez, and Awra Briguela.

Aside from that, Glamurrr also received criticisms for his behavior on social media.
