Certified Kapusang Totoo! Video clip of a cat in ’24 Oras’ set trends online

A stray white cat became the star in the live telecast of GMA Network’s 24 Oras on December 31.

The cat was seen walking in the background while Mel Tiangco was reporting.

Netizens then dubbed the cat as a certified “Kapusa.”

According to PEP, the cat is named “Whitey” who lives in the GMA network compound and other cats. Kapuso employees have been feeding and taking care of the cats.

One netizen noted how cute the cat is and was grateful that the Kapuso employees took care of it.
