David Licauco admits being shy to ask Julie Anne San Jose for a date, hopes for ‘Heartful Café’s’ book two

Kapuso hunk star David Licauco revealed that he is shy to ask his Heartful Café leading lady Julie Anne San Jose for a date.

He said that he is looking forward to the extension of their series to get to know the female Kapuso singer more.

In an exclusive interview with Licauco, he said that he did not want to ask San Jose for a date because she might be busy with work. But he said that they still catch up with each other from time to time through text.

“Nahihiya ako kay Julie baka kase busy siya.

“Siguro kapag hindi na kami busy parehas. Minsan naman nagkaka-text pa rin kami, nagkakamustahan lang. Kinakamusta ko siya, kamusta ‘yung projects niya, kumbaga catch up lang,” he said.

GMA Network’s Heartful Café has already finished taping its entire show but Licauco doesn’t want it to end.

The 26-year-old 2014 Mr. Chinatown first runner-up, hopes that the GMA Network would extend their show to bond with his co-star more as well as the other cast members.

“I’m hoping nga na sana magkaroon ng book 2 ang Heartful Cafe para ma-extend ‘yung bonding namin together.”

Licauco also mentioned that he wanted Heartful Café to have a book 2.

“Dapat ma-extend ‘yung Heartful Café,” he said.

Regarding his relationship with San Jose, he said that there is a chance for them to be a real thing, but the decision rests upon her.

“Depende rin kay Julie eh. Pero may possibility naman. Okay naman si Julie, type ko naman. Hindi ko pa naman sobrang kilala si Julie eh. Kumabaga yung compatability eh hindi pa naman talagang alam eh. So then let’s see di ba?” 

Heartful Café, based on the AGB Nilsen NUTAM survey, has remained the top three show of the Kapuso Network, with a rating of 13.6%, 12.9%, 14.1%, and 13% for the week of May 10 to 13.
