Talk show host and entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin called Lunch Out Loud host Billy Crawford a bully following the incident that involved him and Jeffrey Tam in an episode of Take It Per Minute, Me Ganun aired on Tuesday, November 23.

Fermin’s fellow entertainment news writer-columnist and co-host Lolit Solis then suggested that Lunch Out Loud should stop airing on TV.

Their conversation started after Mr. Fu asked if Lunch Out Loud is still airing on TV.

“Ay nako! Wala na akong pakialam dyan,” Fermin commented.

“Yung pinakaleader na host dyan, di ba si Billy Crawford?” Mr. Fu inquired.

“Bully! Bully Crawford. Mambu-bully ‘yun e,” Fermin said.

Solis said, “Di ba may ginawa daw siya doon sa Jeffrey Tam?”

Fermin narrated that Tam fell from the stage and damaged his spine because of Crawford’s doing. Though, she did not state the exact date of the accident.

“Sinipa niya (Billy) ‘yung karton, bumagsak si Jeffrey Tam sa entablado. Nagkaroon ng ano sa spine niya, e.

“Ang sabi niya (Billy) kaya raw niya ginawa ‘yun dahil tinuro daw ni Bayani. Si Bayani ba gaganun? Bakit naman niya susundin?” Fermin shared.

She also added that Lunch Out Loud shouldered Tam’s treatment and he has recovered now.

Fermin also agreed with Solis when she said that Cong. Albee Benitez should stop the production of the show as he is not suited for showbiz.

“Oo, true. Successful naman ang ibang business niya kaso ito, mukhang hindi para sa kanya,” Solis claimed.

She then expressed her dismay to Crawford following the accident as he is the head of the show’s hosts.

Solis said, “Hindi magandang ano for Billy. Na supposedly ikaw yung head ng show ninyo, dapat ikaw ang leader, dapat ikaw ang..”

Through Ogie Diaz’s vlog episode aired on Wednesday, November 24, Tam divulged the things that happened during the accident.

Tam confirmed that the incident took place sometime in July 2021.

Tam narrated, “Actually, nagbibiruan kami noon. Pag may pinatugtog na music kailangang tumambling. Naglabas ngayon ng balikbayan box, pinatugtog tumabling si Wacky. Tapos nung part ko na sabi ko sige, patugtugin niyo ulit ako naman. Hindi ako tumambling kundi tatalon ako yung pahiga. Pagtalon ko, pagbagsak ko, doon ako nagulat sabi ko ang sakit. Nagdilim yung paningin ko. Yun pala yung kahon, tinanggal, sinipa.

“Ang unang-unang lumapit sa akin, si Billy, yan yung unang tapos pinatigil niya ang taping.

“Hindi ako na-confine kasi nakapagpahinga lang ako ng ilang minuto tapos nag-taping pa ako ng 3rd episode eh.”

Tam shared that he got an X-ray a day after the accident. It was discovered that he had a crack in his spine and he was advised to use a brace for two months.

Despite the accident, Tam chose to forgive Crawford as he felt his sincerity when he admitted his mistake.

He said, “Para sa akin noon wala na akong naisip na magagalit ako dito, magagalit ako diyan. Parang unang isip ko na lang, thank you Lord safe pa rin ako sa kabila ng nangyari.

“From that day na naaksidente ako unti gumaling, totally healed ako, si Billy walang tigil talagang mag-sorry.”
