Kapamilya young star Andrea Brillantes has joined the growing list of artists who publicly declared support for Vice President Leni Robredo’s presidential bid.
In a TikTok video she uploaded on April 18, the Kapamilya Gold Squad member recalled how she declined a fan’s request for a photo because she supports VP Leni.
According to Brillantes, a fan initially asked for a photo but she declined because the fan wanted to have it without wearing a face mask and with an outfit contradicting her brand endorsement.
But what irked her more is when the fan asked her to flash the two joint hand sign, identified to Manila Mayor and presidential candidate Isko Domagoso.
She said she declined the photo and walked out because she doesn’t want to do the hand sign because she’s for VP Leni Robredo.
“Ta’s ito na talaga — kaya mukha akong bad trip diyan kasi bad trip nga talaga ako. Si kuya na kanina pa nangungulit sa mask, biglang sabi, dali, picture tayo, ‘Two joints, two joints!’ Sabi ko, ‘Hindi! Leni ako!’ Walk out ako. Masama ba, ha?””
“Two joints? Leni ako.” Actress Andrea Brillantes, the most followed Filipino celebrity on TikTok with 17.5M followers, says in an April 18 video on the platform that she declined to pose with a certain hand sign because, “Leni ako.” The TikTok clip has so far drawn 7.5M views. pic.twitter.com/fVfirlrLOi
