Longchamp’s Classic Le Pliage Bags Are Getting an Eco-Friendly Makeover
(SPOT.ph) Longchamp‘s world-famous Le Pliage bags have long been in a staple in many closets and purse collections thanks to their versatile design and durable build. Though the classic style has aged gracefully since its introduction in the early ’90s, it looks like the French fashion brand is looking to give it a makeover fit for the modern day: Introducing the Le Pliage Green Collection, a line of classic Longchamp silhouettes made more eco-friendly thanks to the use of repurposed fabric.

This collection features OG Lognchamp favorites from the Le Pliage line like the beloved shoulder tote, the backpack, the top handle bag, the coin purse, the extra large travel bag, and more. Each piece maintains all the Le Pliage’s signature elements—the origami-inspired build, the horse embroidery, the zipper enclosure, and the button flap top—but in an effort to create pieces that are environmentally friendly and reduce the brand’s carbon footprint, the pieces are made of recycled polyamide canvas. That way, you can stick to the same timeless designs and colors of the Le Pliage you’ve always loved while also supporting sustainable fashion!
