Former Kapamilya talent Myrtle Sarrosa is glad that those Kapamilya artists who recently became Kapuso are finding work in GMA Network.

On July 22, during the virtual press conference for the upcoming Kapuso series, Nagbabagang Luha, the actress was asked to share her thoughts about the talents from ABS-CBN making the switch to the Kapuso Network.

The former Kapamilya talents who recently signed with GMA Network were Beauty Gonzalez, Pokwang, Christopher de Leon, Luke Conde, Albert Martinez, and Bea Alonzo. Meanwhile, John Lloyd Cruz had signed a contract with Wille Revillame’s production firm.

The actress responded by saying that she is excited for them since GMA Network has allowed them to find work amid the pandemic.

“Para sa akin, I’m very excited kasi that’s the time na lahat ng artista na di pa nagka-katrabaho will have the chance to work together. And ako personally, feeling ko mae-enjoy nila yung working environment,” the actress answered.

The actress also expressed her gratitude to GMA Network for giving her and fellow artists the opportunities that they need during this pandemic.

“Sobrang thankful ko talaga sa GMA kasi they’re really giving us great jobs, great opportunities. And kami naman, bilang actors and actresses, grateful kami, thankful kami ‘pag nabibigyan kami ng script, ‘pag nabibigyan kami ng chance, ‘pag nabibigyan kami ng opportunity to play a role,” added Myrtle.

Currently, Myrtle has an upcoming soap which is the adaptation of the hit movie, Nagbabagang Luha. She will be part of a stellar cast led by Glaiza de Castro, Rayver Cruz, Myrtle Sarrosa, Mike Tan, Karenina Haniel, Claire Castro, and Gina Alajar, who is also one of its directors.

The cast also includes Alan Paule, Archi Adamos, Royce Cabrera, Ralph Noriega, Karenina Haniel, Bryan Benedict, and Jaclyn Jose in a very special role.

The series will start on August 2 in GMA Afternoon Prime.

Myrtle was a product of the Kapamilya reality game show, Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition 4 in 2012. After 8 years of being a talent of ABS-CBN, in 2020, she decided to change networks and signed a contract with GMA Network.
