Sheree Bautista ‘devirginized’ in ‘Nerisa’

“Yes, first time. Virgin na virgin ako pagdating sa pagpapa-sexy sa movie. So na-devirginized ako sa Nerisa.”

That is what Sheree Bautista said during the virtual media conference for Viva’s upcoming movie, Nerisa, Thursday, July 8.

Bautista explained that her character and the story calls for it; thus she has to deliver.

“The character calls for it, ‘yung story. Kailangan siya. Kasi dahil sa role ko, kailangan kong ibigay ang best ko,” she explained.

Although it was her first sexy film, Bautista trusts its director, Direk Law Fajardo that the movie will come out great.

“Sabi ko nga na virgin ako sa sobrang pa-sexy sa movie. Pero dahil I trust Direk Law so much, na kahit ipakita ko lahat, alam kong magiging tasteful ang dating ng character at tsaka nang film,” she said.

But before she dived into her character in the movie, Bautista prepared herself if such a role comes to her.

“At ni-ready ko naman ang sarili ko when I accepted the role. Sabi ko sa self ko it’s about time na if mabigyan ako ng role na maganda at tsaka makaka-support sa story ng pelikula, at kung mapapaganda ang pelikula, why not,” she added.

The actress’s character is a sex worker, and its setting is on a remote island. When asked about how she prepared “down there”, Bautista replied, “African Jungle”.

“It’s an African Jungle. Of course sa isla ‘yon! S’yempre ‘pag nasa isla ka wala ka namang pang-Brazilian do’n di ba? So uma-African Jungle muna tayo ng very very light,” revealed Bautista.

“At least kahit papaano wala akong ginastos sa buong b’wan at nakatipid ako nang salon. Lahat pinaghandaan ko, pati yung buhok tsaka yung pagiging African Jungle.”

She just followed Direk Law’s advice that the cast must prepare for their respective roles. Since they are on an island, where waxing salons are unavailable, Bautista decided to go “African Jungle” on her private part.

“The whole time. Kasi nga sabi ni Direk Lau, paghandaan ang karakter. So kailangan medyo maitim ka, which is yun naman ang kulay ko. And s’yempre walang pang-ano sa isla. So pinanindigan ko na.”

Nerisa is written by the esteemed writer Ricky Lee and was directed by Direk Law Fajardo. It stars, Aljur Abrenica, Cindy Miranda, AJ Raval, Sean De Guzman, and Sheree Bautista. On July 30, the movie will be available for streaming on Vivamax.
