Celebrities praised the performance of incumbent Vice President and presidential aspirant Leni Robredo during the CNN presidential debate on Sunday, February 27.
Robredo took the spotlight with her years of knowledge and experience among the nine candidates present.
She also highlighted her accomplishments at the start of the pandemic, such as her collaboration with the private sector for the distribution of personal protective equipment, free shuttle buses and dormitories for frontliners, Bayanihan E-Skwela for online learning, Swab Cab COVID-19 testing initiative, and teleconsultation service E-Konsulta, among other initiatives.
Singer Sam Concepcion was impressed by how prepared the VP was. He then tweeted, “VP Leni look Presidential. Wow.”
Actress Mylene Dizon expressed her admiration to the VP, who explained her programs and accomplishments during the pandemic.
Dizon tweeted, “Masyado naman akong pinapabili nitong si Ate Leni ko. Fine, sige, no muna sa divorce, but those programs to empower women is just (100).”

Actress Nikki Valdez even proclaimed Robredo as the victor of the debate. She also lauded CNN Philippines for throwing shade at the only absentee among the presidential bets: Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
