Delta Features Five New Plant-Based Dishes For Passengers, Including Impossible Burgers

Impossible™ Burgers, Black Sheep Foods’ plant-based lamb meatballs, and Impossible™ Meatballs are among the new meals offered to Delta One and First Class customers on select 900-mile flights and greater.

“Not only are plant-based meats like Impossible™ Burger delicious to eat, but they’re also often better for the environment, using far less land and water to produce,” said Kristen Manion Taylor, Senior Vice-President of Delta’s In-Flight Service.

“These new options are one part of Delta’s broader mission to promote a wellness-focused travel journey.”

According to the company, the major goal is to provide a customized and health-conscious travel experience by ensuring each customer feels cared for during their flight.

Passengers on select international and transoceanic flights will be able to experience Delta’s chef-curated meals via a multi-step, three-course service.

This is a sneak peek of the five new plant-based dishes that first-class passengers and Delta One customers will be able to order from March 15.

They’ll also have extra dessert options, with a choice of one of Delta’s exquisite plated desserts or an ice cream sundae with a variety of toppings.
