Frontier Launches 27 New U.S. And Mexico Routes With Introductory Fares As Low As $29
Frontier Airlines plans to launch 27 new direct routes for the 2022 summer season, including direct flights to two top Mexican destinations.
“We are thrilled to announce further growth in our international network with flights to Guadalajara (GDL) and Monterrey (MTY), Mexico from Las Vegas,” said Daniel Shurz, Senior Vice President, Commercial, Frontier Airlines.
The ultra-low-cost carrier is also expanding its operations from east coast airports such as Philadelphia (PHL) and Raleigh–Durham (RDU) (RDU).
“Consumers are ready to travel and we encourage them to take advantage of our ultra-low fares and friendly service to popular destinations in the United States and beyond,” Shurz added.
As part of this massive expansion, Frontier is offering introductory domestic fares starting at $29 for domestic flights and $79 for Mexican routes.

Eight additional flights will be added from Raleigh-Durham International Airport, six from Philadelphia International Airport, three from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and four from Denver International Airport.
“We are also increasing significantly in Philadelphia and Raleigh Durham as part of this major service expansion,” Shurz said.

In February, the airline also announced the launch of another nonstop service between Miami international airport and Norman Manley international airport in Kingston, Jamaica, which would begin on May 5. This route will operate three times per week.
According to Cirium platform, this carrier will connect Cancun (CUN) to 16 US cities during the summer of 2022 including Atlanta (ATL), Baltimore (BWI), Cleveland (CLE), Cincinnati (CVG), Denver (DEN), Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Houston–Hobby (HOU), Indianapolis (IND), Orlando (MCO), Miami (MIA), Chicago O’Hare (ORD), Philadelphia (PHL), Raleigh–Durham (RDU) and Raleigh–Durham (RDU (STL).
Frontier has also laid out plans to purchase Spirit airlines over the months to come.
