Catch The Sunset At This Beautiful Restaurant-Café Inside A Beach Resort

If you have already had your fill of restaurants and cafés surrounded by trees or those overlooking the Metro Manila skyline, you can change it up heading to the beach instead. On your next trip out of town, you should drop by Rob’s Kitchen & Cafe, a restaurant-café inside La Evangs Beach Resort in Batangas.

This restaurant-café ticks a lot of boxes that we all want for a quick weekend getaway: al fresco (open-air) setup, view of the Balayan Bay and of the sunset, free Wi-Fi, free use of board games and card games, pet-friendly, has parking space, and has a deck ideal for stargazing. It goes without saying that there are so many Instagram-worthy photos to be taken here!

Rob’s Kitchen & Cafe has a separate menu from La Evangs Beach Resort. Most of the dishes served at Rob’s Kitchen & Café are very budget-friendly—from their pasta dishes, sandwiches, cakes, milk teas, fruit shakes, beers, and coffee. These menu items mostly cost P100 or less. Not too expensive, right?

If you want something more special, Rob’s Kitchen & Cafe does have Artisan Cheese (P599/good for 2 pax and P1,199/good for 4 pax) that includes four kinds of artisan cheese, biscuits, fresh and dried fruits, nuts, cookies, chocolates, bread, and a glass of wine per person.

They also have Afternoon Tea (P499/good for 2 pax and P999/good for 4 pax) that’s inclusive of cakes, biscuits, fresh and dried fruits, nuts, mallows, cookies, chocolates, bread, and is served with juice, coffee, or tea. For an additional P40, you can get a bottle of non-alcoholic sparkling wine.

On the other hand, La Evangs Beach Resort’s separate menu is more extensive. They have breakfast meals, soups, salads, pan-seared meats, plates of pasta, sandwiches, cocktails, mocktails, wine, coffee, and tea.

When it comes to price points, La Evangs Beach Resort’s dishes are pricier than the dishes served at Rob’s Kitchen & Cafe.

They even offer a romantic dinner by the bay during sunset! For this, La Evangs Beach Resort has 3-course menus (P2,499/good for two pax) and 4-course menus (P2,999/god for two pax) where you can choose your soup, salad, main course, dessert, and a bottle of red or white wine. You just need to take note that you need to reserve at least one (1) day prior to your visit.

Rob’s Kitchen & Cafe by La Evangs Beach Resort is located at Sitio Aroma, Barangay Butong, Taal, Batangas.

It is advised to have a reservation prior to your visit so that you can have the best sea view of Balayan Bay. There is a reservation fee of P200/booking and is consumable (food and drinks).

For reservations, call (0966) 307-7957 or message Rob’s Kitchen & Cafe by La Evangs Beach Resort on Facebook.
