CENRO Nagtipunan donates P99,000 worth of common hard lumber, food packs
NAGTIPUNAN, Quirino, June 28 (PIA)—The Community Environment and natural Resources (CENRO) here reported that a total of Php 99,480.00 common hard lumber and food packs had been donated for the construction of COVID-19 isolation units and as assistance for the frontliners manning the inter-agency checkpoints.
Reporting to the media practitioners during the press briefing via zoom this morning, CENR Officer Taripato Sagun said some 48 pieces of Common Hard Lumber with a total of 1,012 bdft/2.38cu.m amounting to P37,444.00 were donated to Maddela District Hospital for construction of Covid-19 isolation room last month.
“We again donated 81 pieces Common Hardwood Lumber with a volume of 1,481.67 or bd.ft./3.49 cu.m. and worth of Php 54,821.00 to MDH for the construction of additional isolation rooms,” Sagun said.
Furthermore, CENRO Nagtipunan donated 23 pieces CHL with a total volume of 325 bdft/0.76 cubic meter to Delta company, 86IB, 5ID Philippine Army stationed at Masaya Sur, San Agustin, Isabela and in Maddela.
Aside from these, Sagun also said they distributed some food packs to the frontliners manning the checkpoints at Villa Norte, Abbag, Divisoria Norte in maddela; Dipantan Checkpoint in Nagtipunan and Maddela District Hospital in Diduyon.
Sagun said this is part of their efforts to help sustain the COVID-free status of the province and in compliance to Republic Act 11469 “Bayanihan to Heal as One Act.” (MDCT/TCB/PIA 2-Quirino)
