CHEd closes central office as 4 personnel test positive for Covid
THE Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) suspended work in its central office in Quezon City after four of its personnel tested positive for the Coronavirus disease (Covid-19), according to a post on its Facebook page on Friday.
As part of precautionary measures, the central office, which includes “the National Capital Region (NCR), Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan) and Region 4 will be closed for a thorough disinfection of the premises”.
A skeleton staff will report on July 20, according to the CHEd announcement.
As of posting time, the Philippines has 61,266 cases, of which 1, 643 have died and 21, 440 have recovered.
