Conducive health facility needed in Sarangani – Sen. Pacquiao

ALABEL, Sarangani, July 17 – Senator Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao graced the ceremonial turn-over and ribbon-cutting Wednesday of the Provincial Department of Health Office and Integrated Provincial Health Office (PDOHO-PHO) here.

Pacquiao gave his words of wisdom and highlighted the struggles and dedication of the people behind the PDOHO-PHO building.

In 2012, when Senator Pacquiao was still the congressman of Sarangani, one of the problems he has seen was the lack of proper and conducive health facility in the province.

“Nakita ko na wala talagang hospital ang probinsya at nabahala ako noon dahil sa population natin na mahigit sa kalahating milyon na noong time na yun. So sabi ko, gagawin ko ang lahat para makapag-patayo ng hospital kasama na itong building na ito, health office building para sa ating mga doctors and other health staff,” Pacquiao said.

He added, “nagpapasalamat ako sa ating Panginoon dahil natupad yung pinapangarap natin mula pa noon, kahit di pa tapos at least we’re moving forward little by little”.
