During the ceremony, Secretary Del Rosario cited the importance of the school building project in shaping the knowledge and values of the youth to become productive citizens.
“This project is very important because it transcends everything. Other projects may cater to business, public facility, and so forth, but this one is different. The TFBM chairperson also commended the efforts and sacrifices of teachers in providing quality education to the youth.
“All of us would not be here if not for our DepEd and CHED teachers who help a lot in shaping all of us,” he added.
Mayor Gandamra, on the other hand, noted that the quality of education will have a great impact on the future of the country.
While emphasizing that continuity of education should be the top priority of every social institution, the mayor thanked the national government for the construction of the integrated public school building in the MAA.
“What happened to Marawi City three years ago has dimmed the light of education and destroyed the hopes of our students and teachers for a brighter future. However, because of the support and efforts national government through the TFBM and the different line agencies of the government, we are once again seeing a new light that would illuminate the minds of our learners in their journey for academic excellence,” he said.
