The company announced the new device on Twitter, along with a short teaser video and the taglines “pretty much everything you could ask for” and “coming soon.” Tweet may have been deleted While that doesn’t tell us very much, OnePlus also announced that the Nord 2 would be the company’s first phone to feature a MediaTek processor — more precisely, the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI. “We’ve worked with MediaTek to build an exclusive AI-enhanced experience that takes photography, display tech, and gaming to a new dimension,” the company said. Tweet may have been deleted In a post on company forums, OnePlus goes into a few more details, explaining that the new processor will bring AI-assisted photography, display enhancements, as well as better response times for faster and smoother gaming. There’s no word on other specs, and pricing and availability are still a mystery — though it can’t be long now until OnePlus reveals all the details.
