See the ‘Uncharted’ movie for free when you buy ‘Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection’ for PS5
FREEBIE ALERT: You’ll get a free ticket to see the Uncharted movie at participating theaters when you buy Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection ($49.99) for the PlayStation 5. This deal expires today (Thursday, Feb. 3), so make it snappy.
2022 is panning out to be an excellent year for Uncharted fans. Not only did Sony finally remaster two of the beloved series’ best games for the PlayStation 5 (bundled together as the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection), but its big-screen adaptation starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg is just around the corner.
Sony is marking the occasion by gifting a free Uncharted movie ticket to anyone who purchases the Legacy of Thieves Collection from the PlayStation Store. (It’s priced at $49.99, which is honestly kind of a deal considering PS5 games cost up to $70 apiece nowadays.) Put some hustle into it, though: The offer expires today at 11:59 p.m. PST.
In case you missed the PlayStation Blog’s announcement last fall, the Legacy of Thieves Collection features updated versions of 2016’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy from 2017, two Indiana Jones-style adventures packed with gorgeous scenery, tricky puzzles, and swashbuckling action. Both games have gotten next-gen facelifts that include graphical and performance enhancements, including blazing-fast load times, razor-sharp resolution (in the PS5’s Fidelity Mode), and higher frame rates (in Performance Mode).
Note that if you already own a PlayStation 4 copy of either game (physical or digital), you can upgrade to the Legacy of Thieves Collection through the PlayStation Store for just $10.
A voucher code for your free Uncharted ticket will arrive via email “on or around February 9, 2022,” per the promotion’s fine print. U.S. residents can redeem it for a 2D screening at participating Regal theaters upon the movie’s release on Friday, Feb. 18 — find a showtime near you on REGmovies.com or through the Regal app.
