What is Walmart’s 2021 Black Friday deal?

All good things come in threes, as they say, and that certainly applies to Walmart’s Black Friday plans. 

Last year’s Black Friday Deals for Days sale went so well that the big box store brought it back for the 2021 holiday season, but this time it’s divided up into a trio of separate events that are staggered throughout the month of November.

After two jam-packed preview events that featured a bunch of toy and electronic doorbusters, we’re now in the thick of Event 3 — “its biggest, best savings of the season for the most exciting shopping day of the year.” The sale officially began on Monday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. ET (after a three-hour sneak peek for paying Walmart+ subscribers) and continues in stores on Friday, Nov. 26 at 5 a.m. local time.

When will Walmart be open on Black Friday?

Note that while Walmart’s brick-and-mortar locations were closed on Thanksgiving (like last year), the doors will be open for in-person shopping on Black Friday proper. Stores open at 5 a.m. local time on Black Friday. All associates are required to wear a mask (regardless of vaccination status) in areas where there are mandates, and customers are strongly encouraged to do so, too. Stores are spraying carts after use and keeping plastic shields at registers, among other enhanced safety procedures. Curbside and in-store pickup are available.

However, you’ll be able able to score the exact same deals from your couch all week long, so it’s probably not worth dealing with lines and crowded aisles.
