‘I Left My Heart in Sorsogon,’ ‘Viral Scandal,’ new shows facing off for primetime

With the series finale of Legal Wives from GMA Network and Huwag Kang Mangamba from ABS-CBN, new TV shows are airing starting November 15 and are facing off for the top primetime spot.

These TV shows are I Left My Heart in Sorsogon and Viral Scandal.

I Left My Heart in Sorsogon features Heart Evangelista as Celeste, a fashion designer and socialite engaged to Tonito, brought to life by Richard Yap. The series offers up the sights and tastes of Sorsogon in a Romance-Drama filled with a dash of fashion-filled visuals.

Viewers will follow Celeste’s journey in her hometown as she rediscovers her roots, rekindles her love for family, its people, and Mikoy, portrayed by Kapuso actor Paolo Contis.

The series premieres on November 15 after 24 Oras, on GMA Telebabad.

‘Viral Scandal’ offers a look into the impact of online video scandals. The series stars Charlie Dizon, who portrays Rica, eldest among the children of Kakay (Dimples Romana), and Dan (Miko Raval), who recently finished her internship in an architectural firm. However, her life turns upside down after Rica gets involved in a viral video.

Rica returns to the architectural firm with Kyle, portrayed by Joshua Garcia as the acting CEO despite the viral video’s impact on her reputation. Here, she aims to regain her sense of self-worth and confidence she lost from the viral video.

Viral Scandal also premieres on November 15, after ‘Marry Me, Marry You’, via Kapamilya Channel, TV5, A2Z, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and TFC IPTV.

Each of these two series has its unique stories to tell. The real question is, which of them will be a hit for the Pinoy audience?
